Recently (a month or 2 ago… recent’ish) joined a Jacksonville based photographer (http://www.brittaniagarden.com/) for a shoot as a videographer. It’s always cool to see how another photographer shoots, and we lucked out hardcore with lighting (win win situation).
Here’s a still from the upcoming short video (I didn’t actually use a video camera, it’ll be comprised of tons of low res shots like these pushed together) - not sure what I’ll end up doing color wise. This is one option. I’ll post another in a day or so, with another coloring idea (probably more bleach bypass styled). I’d like anyone’s thoughts though on each..

Whaaaat? This (hopefully) is my first anon. non spam mail? Fancy times.
I recently got the Canon 9000F, but before that would use the Walgreens/CVS (recommend CVS over the 2 due to price) $5 process and scan system.
Also, should go without saying, the pharmacy lab is great for price, low on quality (unless pictures never go too far beyond the internet).
After purchasing, how does one accomplish anything else….

Sitting rather far away… unfortunately my only zoom is fairly cheap.
But anywho… first time going to a ballet.
Film - it’s like an iphone app… only not at all..
Ps. italics in this case seem far more dramatic than normal.
I had to photograph it tonight.. and had no idea what the hell the story was about (those days in elementary music classes really didn’t stick with me) so this is what I got out of it.
Children dance because they like toys. Evil fat man brings a nutcracker and gives kids nuts. Kids have to go to sleep, because they’ve been dancing too long. The fatman leads an army of ratmen in the night. The nutcracker (who’s head is clearly too large) is an awful fighter, but is also the defender against the fat evil guy and his ratmen. The nutcracker dies, and dissapears, and the girl dances with a random dude. For some reason the rat people just give up and go away. Everyone’s happy, they dance an hour, and then say good bye.
Afterwards I wikipedia’d the real line of events… and it turns out I was a little off. Oh well. Maybe the one I saw was a different version…
